Cold and dry, with clear skies. For once, this part of Scotland is getting better weather than the rest of the UK – there’s a month’s worth of rain and flooding in Northern England and the Borders.
This lamp post is on the jetty guarding the site of the fabled Campbeltown Lido of myth and legend. There was a rising, almost-full moon that looked very impressive to the naked eye, but unfortunately it’s tiny and underwhelming when photographed with this camera. I’m getting very frustrated with this 4 year old, 6 mega-pixel, 5X zoom compact. I should stop wavering and buy a decent bridge camera, something I can grow into.
