Daily Video: Destino

This is a repost from Susan Huntley on G+, who discovered in Open Culture an unlikely collaboration between Salvador Dali and Walt Disney. They started making a short animated film together in 1946, but the project ran out of cash. It was taken up again in 1999 by Walt’s nephew and the completed film, Destino, premiered at the New York Film Festival in 2003.

A fascinating blend of Dali-esque surrealism and Disney animation, this film is a real treat for fans of both.
